Site Selection Magazine named Saginaw-Saginaw Township North as the sixth Top Metro Area for New and Expanded Facilities in 2010 for areas with a population between 50,000 and 200,000. Nine projects met the criteria, which excludes retail, government, school and hospital projects. The projects must meet at least one of the following standards to qualify: at least US $1 million investment, create 50 new jobs or add at least 20,000 sq. ft.
