Pharmacist – Needed part-time. Candidates must have experience with high-volume dispense checking, including review, clarification and processing of medications orders in a timely manner while assuring clinical appropriateness and safety of therapy. Bachelor’s degree, PharmD preferred; current licensures for the State of Michigan; previous experience in a retail setting required or 340(b) FQHC setting preferred.
Dentist – full time position. Directly responsible for the examination of patient health history, diagnosis of dental disease, the recommendation of treatment modalities, rendering of those treatments, and the recording of appropriate documentation in the patient charts. DDS or DMD degree with current State of Michigan licensure. EHR experience preferred.
Physicians – MD/DO – Candidates must be Board Certified and be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan with a current DEA license. EHR experience preferred. Clinical Assistant – Full-time position providing clinical and administrative support to the health care team. Current certification required. Minimum of one year current clinical experience required and EHR experience preferred.
Clinical Social Worker – Full-time position providing integratedcounseling services that include assessment, treatment, and coordination of care. Masters degree in social work required along with current license to practice in the State of Michigan with clinical certification. Two years of previous experience in a public health, community health, or school based health center preferred.
Optician/Optical Technician – Full-time position needed to assist patients with frame selection, eyeglass orders, and dispensing of eyewear. Responsible for various administrative duties. Optical experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification through the ABO or equivalent certification preferred.
Breastfeeding Peer Counselor – Part-time position needed to provide breastfeeding promotion, support, information, and guidance to WIC clients. High School graduate or equivalent required. Must have current or previous personal experience with breastfeeding. Current or previous enrollment in WIC required.
Migrant Operations Nurse Supervisor – Part-time position responsible for direct and indirect patient care. Directly supervises nursing, medical assistant, clerical, and outreach staff. Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. Minimum of one year community health experience preferred. Current unrestricted State of Michigan RN License required. Bilingual preferred.
Receptionist – Part-time position needed to ensure the appropriate, courteous, and professional reception of clients both coming into and calling the center. Other duties include collecting client information, data entry, and assisting with lab duties. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Previous experience in health services preferred. Spanish/English proficiency required.
